Eat It Up! – Cinnamon Apple Snacks
- Peels from 1 to 2 pounds of apples
- 1 to 2 teaspoons of neutral oil, such as organic canola
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Pinch or two of ground cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 250 F
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, toss the peels with the oil, then the sugar and cinnamon.
Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheets.
Bake for 2 ½ hours or until brown and brittle.
Let cool completely before serving.
Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
