Food News, Week of July 3: Peak Fish, Recipe Tweets, and a Kale-Eating Competition

Is “peak fish“ just around the corner? The Food and Agriculture Organization (of the UN), in their State of World Fisheries and Aquaculture Report, says that even though aquaculture now accounts for 50% of all the fish we eat, about 90% of the ocean’s supply is overfished. 

Quick and easy recipes just got quicker and easier thanks to Twitter. This week, Food52’s #140characterrecipes hashtag started to go viral and foodies everywhere jumped on the bandwagon (including Edible).
